Small Animal Services

Thorough check-ups and preventive care can help alleviate serious health problems. We offer a wide range of veterinary services to keep your companions feeling their best. Click on the services and links below to get more detailed information.

Preventative Care Exams

Bringing your pets to the veterinarian for a physical exam every year is the smartest and easiest way to keep them healthy. Exams allow your veterinarian to detect any problems before they become severe or costly.

Dental Care

Our dental services include teeth cleaning and polishing, tooth extractions and minor oral surgery. We also provide client education on how to care for their pet’s teeth on a daily basis.

Vaccination

Annual vaccination is advised to protect your pet from highly contagious and deadly diseases and improve your pet’s overall quality of life.

Surgery

Our state-of-the-art surgical suite provides for the performance of a variety of surgical procedures. We utilize the safest available anesthetics to provide an extra margin of safety, especially for our older or high-risk patients. Using the most modern equipment, the patient’s vital signs are monitored during all anesthetic procedures.

Quality Of Life Assessment

We offer quality of life services in-house. We understand that euthanasia is one of the most difficult decisions anyone can ever make for a pet who is a beloved companion and strive to make this decision and transition as peaceful as possible.

Permanent Identification

We offer microchip identification. Combined with a collar and current name tag, a microchip increases the likelihood of a lost pet being safely reunited with its owner.

Online Pharmacy

We maintain a well-stocked in-house inventory of pharmaceuticals, shampoos, flea and tick control products, and heartworm preventatives to meet the needs of your pet as well as several lines of prescription diets. We also offer the convenience of our online pharmacy, Covetrus.

Behavioral Counseling

We can provide advice regarding the correction of problems such as excessive barking, chewing, spraying, scratching, digging, house soiling and aggression. For canines, we can also refer you to the area behaviorist, Nina Dix, to assist us in treating more complicated behavior cases.
