Our goal with the recent changes is to decrease congestion in our waiting area, make drop-off/pick-up less stressful for pets and their parents, and allow ample time to clean and disinfect our kennel prior to your pets’ arrival and after discharge.

Personal Belongings & Food
We strongly discourage bringing pets beds, blankets, bowls, and cloth toys. We have plenty of bedding and bowls for your pet to use while staying with us.
- To reduce the chance of gastrointestinal issues while your pet is boarding, we ask that you bring your pet’s food from home. Please separate food into individual meals and label it with their name. Canned diets do not need to be measured into individual meals. There will be an additional $5 daily charge for any food provided by Rowan Animal Clinic.
- Cats should be dropped off in a carrier and collars removed. We will keep the carrier at our office to use at pick-up.
- Collars, harnesses, pet clothing, and leashes should be removed and taken home at drop-off. Harnesses may be left with your pet if medically necessary.
- All medication should be clearly labeled and have detailed, legible instructions. All prescription medication must be in the original container with a legible prescription label from the prescribing veterinarian. Please indicate when the next dose is due to be given when dropping off your pet.
